Im Februar während des February Album Writing Month, kurz FAWM, habe ich 14 Songs in 28 Tagen geschrieben. Ich habe bisher nicht vor, etwas davon auszuarbeiten, fände es allerdings schade, wenn die Sachen ganz in der Versenkung verschwinden würden. Deswegen ein paar Textfragmente, die während des FAWM entstanden sind:

Die Besucher

die Welt ist in Gefahr
doch wir können fliehen
ein Akademiker
und sein Expertenteam

Du glaubst, Zeit ist linear
vergeht irgendwann gänzlich
und nun sind wir zurück
das alles war nie vergangen
es ist unendlich

Godless

Hypnotized

it is spinning
black and white
and I’m becoming
hypnotized

an endless fall
an endless flight
the vaccuum

The Game

playing with people, you call it a game
sold it to the lost, they all know your name
you saw me and thought it would just be the same
you will regret the very day that I came

the biologist told you essentially the same
at first you were nothing and now you’ve got fame
the loss of the weak is all that you gain
you will regret the very day that I came

the manager says you should get control
the scientist says it’s your natural role
the man you look up to says it’s his goal
how you love the things that you have been told

behind the curtains
two silhouettes play
one is your shadow
the other decays

Freedom

this is where I’m
in my mind
got a place
you can’t find
made you blind
with my lies
in my veins
my blood cries

I’m dying for freedom

this is my place
in my mind
all I am
is alright
this is why
I’ve to hide
save the freedom
inside

I’ll have to flee
for being free

In diesem Moment

irgendwann siehst du zurück
und es ist nichts mehr da
das Leuchten verblasst
im Moment ist es noch klar
wenn es soweit ist,
frag nicht ob, es richtig war
denk einfach dran wie es war
in diesem Moment

Not Breathing
